Sangamon County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the death of Nancy Corbin, a 65 year old Springfield woman.
On November 19th the Sangamon County Coroner’s Office was called to the 1100 block of North 11th Street in Springfield.
It is there that Corbin’s remains were recovered from a waste container, inside of a shed on the property.
The remains were found in an advanced state of decomposition.
Sangamon County jail records show 59-year-old Adam Corbin is in custody on charges including concealment of a homicidal death.
The death remains under investigation by the Sangamon County Coroner and the Springfield Police Department.
