Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon has released the identity of the man who died from the gunfire on East Edwards on Thursday night.
20-year-old Barrion Sanders was pronounced deceased at 10:48pm shortly after his arrival to the emergency room at HSHS St. John’s Hospital.
An autopsy done today showed Mr. Sanders died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The death remains under investigation by the Sangamon County Coroner and the Springfield Police Department.
