A Virden man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to residential burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Timothy “TJ” Garrison pleaded guilty to the charges according to Macoupin County State’s Attorney Jordan Garrison.
Virden Police responded to call of a burglary in progress on September 20 of last year and arrested TJ Garrison in the garage of a Dean Street residence.
He was given credit for 116 days already served in custody.
