Krista Phillips of Effingham has been named the 68th Miss Illinois County Fair Queen.
Phillips, 21 won the honor over the weekend on the last day of the 115th Annual Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs convention at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield.
Phillips, who will graduate from University of Illinois-Champaign in May 2026 will wear the crown at both the DuQuoin State Fair and the Illinois State Fair.
