In the anticipation of the snow involved with the upcoming winter storm the City of Springfield Office of Public Works has announced a Snow Emergency starting 7a on Saturday morning.
The Snow Emergency currently will extend through 12pm on Monday.
Residents must remove all parked vehicles from marked snow emergency routes to ensure crews can clear the roads.
The city is continuing to monitor the winter storm and will provide updates as needed.
