Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher has announced the return of the Springfield Green program.
The program was largely active during the Davlin administration and with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Route 66, Buscher wanted to use the program to put the City’s best foot forward for all the incoming tourists.
The first major effort for Springfield Green will be litter pickup. This will be accomplished via an Adopt-a-Street program, which will be similar to the State’s Adopt-a-Highway program.
