Sangamon County Clerk Don Gray says early voting and voting by mail begins today for the March 17 primary election.
Early in-person ballots may be cast on the first floor of the Sangamon County Complex on 9th Street in Springfield from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday through March 6.
Additional extended hours will continue through March 16:
Monday, February 12th (Lincoln’s Birthday) 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Monday, February 16th (President’s Day) 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Saturdays, February 21st , 28th and March 7th 9:00 am – noon
Sunday, March 8th 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Monday, March 9th – Friday, March 13th 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturday, March 14th 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Sunday, March 15th 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Monday, March 16th 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
The U.S. Postal Service recommends mailing ballots by March 10. More information is at countyclerk.sangamonil.gov
