Chef and owner Maurad Ali recently launched the “Nude Dining Experience” at C.L.A.S.S. Soiree Steakhouse, a private event held on the first Monday of every month. According to Ali, the concept was designed to create conversation and help the restaurant distinguish itself from competitors.
“As a restaurateur in this rough environment, we have to be remarkable, and remarkable means people are talking,” Ali said.
The monthly dinners are organized as private gatherings and come with a strict set of rules intended to ensure a respectful and comfortable environment for all attendees. While guests have the option to dine without clothing, restaurant servers remain fully dressed throughout the event and receive training on maintaining professional and respectful interactions.
Admission prices vary by guest category, with tickets costing $250 for men, $150 for women, and $300 for couples. The event is restricted to adults, and no one under the age of 18 is permitted to attend.
To promote guest comfort and hygiene, each attendee is provided with a robe, towel, and seat cover. Organizers also enforce a zero-tolerance policy regarding unwanted physical contact, emphasizing that consent and respectful behavior are mandatory.
The unique dining experience has sparked curiosity and discussion both locally and online. Despite its unusual nature, city officials have confirmed that the events are legal. Hollywood city spokesperson Joann Hussey stated that the dinners comply with regulations because they are conducted as private gatherings.
