An economic development organization has announced an unidentified benefactor has purchased the former Lincoln College campus with plans to offer one-dollar leases for businesses and nonprofit groups.
Lincoln Economic Advancement and Development, or LEAD, announced the purchase and lease program on Tuesday.
LEAD CEO Uriah Kilgallin said if job growth goals are met, the benefactor plans to donate the properties to nonprofits and offer for-profit businesses the option to purchase the property at an expected cost of $40 to $50 per square foot. More information is at leadlincoln.com.
