A man with four prior felony convictions has been arrested in Sangamon County.
Larry Gillespie, 39 was initially arrested for domestic battery, but when police arrived at the house, they received info that the home contained firearms as well as narcotics.
After securing a search warrant Sangamon County Deputies recovered 18 firearms as well as cannabis, scales and other items.
Gillespie now faces additional charges in connection with the firearms and suspected narcotics.
