University of Illinois Springfield has been rated as the top public regional university in the state for the eighth year in the Best Colleges rankings from U.S. News and World Report.
UIS was ranked 10th among public regional universities in the Midwest.
UIS was ranked high in best value for in-state students, best value overall, and as one of the best colleges for veterans.
