1. Butch and Sundance, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” (1969)
2. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. They made 10 movies together, including “Top Hat” (1935) and “Swing Time” (1936)
3. Thelma and Louise, “Thelma & Louise” (1991)
4. Han Solo and Chewbacca, the “Star Wars” franchise
5. Bonnie and Clyde, “Bonnie and Clyde” (1967)
6. Joe, Jerry, and Sugar Kane, “Some Like It Hot” (1959) Perhaps better known to you as Marilyn Monroe with Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis in drag. (Duo? Yes, “EW” admits this is a cheat.)

8. Frodo and Samwise, the “Lord of the Rings” franchise
