Nearly 70 requests were funded in this year’s Community Grants program through the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln.
The foundation reports a program record $312,000 was awarded to organizations throughout Central Illinois from 32 donor-advised funds.
The funds were designated for a wide range of purposes, including disaster relief, youth programs, community health, and arts activities.
Local nonprofits may apply to the Community Grants program every August at cfll.org.
