I was born and raised in St. Louis and moved to Springfield in 2004. I still bleed Mississippi River water: Cardinals, Blues, STL Zoo, Imo’s Pizza, toasted ravioli and Ted Drewes. Now I’m hungry. I am a Star Wars nerd and love The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Three kids call me “dad.” Thanks for listening and please join me during the Morning MIX weekday mornings 6-10 a.m.

I make words with my mouth weekdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. during the Midday Mix and 90’s at Noon! Some may know me as “Tuna Melt,” from the KISS-FM heyday. I am a native of the 217 and am a distant relative of Abraham Lincoln #seriously. Likes: Starbucks, Lisa Vanderpump, instagram filters, the Kardashian family, my nephew, crockpot cooking, traveling and emojis. Dislikes: Bondsy, loud chewing, pens when they run out of ink, bad drivers, rollercoasters, heights and grammatical errors (hashtags don’t count.)

What’s up, 217? I’m Chris, AKA: Jammer, Pajammerz, Pajamjam, Jimmy-Jammy, Hammer-Jammer, etc. I’m a native Springfield-ian/Chatham-ite. When I’m not spinning the beats on your radio, I can be found at the local skating rink also spinning the beats and shooting the duck, the local TV station, and sometimes at our sister station, WFMB. Catch me weekends 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and also anywhere else Bondsy decides to stick me last minute.
