City Water Light and Power noted Wednesday afternoon that crews were presently responding to a power outage caused by a semi-truck crash that broke two power poles at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and West Lawrence Avenue, which is currently closed to traffic.
Customers currently impacted are along Veterans Parkway and Durkin Drive areas, between West Washington Street and Old Jacksonville Road/Monroe Street.
Crews will work to make repairs and restore power to all customers as quickly and safely as possible.
