Thomas Rhett was forced to cancel his concert on Saturday (August 27th) in Chula Vista, CA due to “vocal irritation and swelling.” Thomas broke the news to fans on social media writing in part, “It breaks my heart to say this but unfortunately I am not able to sing tonight . . . I am so sorry this announcement is so close to show time. For those of you who have already traveled to the show I sincerely apologize. We’ve been working all day to try and make the show happen, but it’s just not going to be possible and have been advised not to perform this evening . . .”
According to the post, fans' tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
At present time, Thomas is scheduled to resume his tour on September 8th in Tuscaloosa, AL.
