Did you know black dogs are the last dogs to get adopted from shelters? Maybe it’s because they just blend in or maybe it’s because there are so many black dogs in shelters. Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week is a black pit mix who has been waiting since September 15th for someone to notice her and take her home.
Mila is an adorable chunky little pit mix girl, about 2 years old. She loves people and is eager to become best friends with everyone she meets. She’s a happy little girl who is sure to bring a smile to your face. Five months is a long time for a sweet and sociable dog to spend long lonely days in a kennel. Please consider giving Mila a chance to be your new best friend.
The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still full of wonderful dogs just waiting to start a new life. Are you ready to help a lonely pet start over? Please come on out Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
Thanks to The Villas Senior Care Community in Sherman for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
