One of the beautiful things about dogs is they live in the moment. They don’t get stuck in the past and they don’t worry about the future. Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week came to us from unfortunate circumstances and we hope a loving home is in her future. For now, she’s waiting at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center.
Princess was confiscated from her home on December 14th. She’s eight years old which makes her one of our fabulous senior dogs looking for a loving home. Many adopters prefer puppies and young dogs but a senior can make a wonderful companion. Princess is a friendly girl who loves getting out for a walk. She likes to hang out with the volunteers and check out the world around her. She walks nicely on a leash and is ready for a new life.
Would you like to give this sweet senior girl a loving home and a fresh start in life? Come on out to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center to meet Princess Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45. Our kennels are full of wonderful dogs waiting to meet you!
