Wet Nose Wednesday: Lou

By John Spalding May 10, 2023 | 10:13 AM

Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week ain’t nothin but a hound dog. He ain’t crying’ all the time but this boy really wants to get out of kennel life and into a loving home.

Lou came to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center as an owner surrender on March 28. At the time he was pretty skinny but he has filled out is now a really handsome guy. He’s listed as a beagle mix but he’s bigger than a beagle. He’s a happy, friendly guy who does pretty well on a leash during his walks. Lou will be happiest when he’s out taking a long walk with his best buddy and sniffing out all the scents along the way.
The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are full to capacity. Lou and many other great dogs are waiting to start their new lives. Please come on out to meet them Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
Thanks to Simply CBD in Junction Circle for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
