The shelter environment is just too stressful for some of the dogs that come to Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week was really stressed in the kennel run so he needs a home of his own ASAP.
Meet Herman. This adorable guy is 1 1/2 yrs old and he was surrendered by his owner. He can be a little timid at first but after he’s spent some time with his walker and has had some time outside he’s a friendly and happy medium sized dog. There may be some cattle dog in this boy so he’s going to be happiest when he’s busy and active. If you’re an active person looking for a buddy to share adventures Herman may be the guy for you.
The kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center are still full to capacity with wonderful dogs looking for loving homes. Please come on out Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10.30-12:45 and meet your new best friend.
Thanks to Simply CBD in Junction Circle for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
