Taylor Swift Set To Earn Over $100M From Spotify Alone In 2023

Spotify’s 2023 Wrapped was released last week, with Taylor Swift named as the service's most-streamed artist of the year. Billboard crunched the numbers, and using an average of $0.0035 cents per stream, the 26.1 billion streams Swift accumulated on Spotify earned her about $91.35 million through November alone. Assuming similar numbers for December, the total would be closer to $101 million. When adding in publishing revenue as well, Swift’s music will have earned about $131 million on Spotify by the end of 2023. Including the other major streaming services (including Apple Music, YouTube Music and Amazon Music), her total earnings from streaming alone would likely surpass $200 million. Other top streaming earners of the year included Bad Bunny, the Weeknd, Drake and Peso Pluma.
