Woman Accusing Diplo Of Distributing Revenge Porn In A Lawsuit

A woman in Los Angeles is suing Diplo for allegedly distributing nude photographs of her without her consent. She also submitted her case to the Los Angeles city attorney’s office in November, where it is currently under review. Shelly Auguste has been in a legal fight with Diplo since 2020, accusing him of recording and distributing sexually explicit videos of her without her permission, and knowingly giving her a sexually transmitted infection. She's now suing for sexual battery, gender violence, intentional intrusion into private affairs, battery, assault, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and fraud. Diplo's lawyer called the allegations an “ongoing smear campaign” and promised that the producer “will win” the civil trial that is currently scheduled to begin next April.
