Kanye West Lists Totally Gutted Beach House For $53 Million

Kanye West is hoping to get $53 million for the Malibu beach house he bought two years ago for $57 million — despite the completely gutted property having no windows, doors, plumbing, electrical, HVAC or interior finishes. Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim nabbed the listing, though he acknowledges it needs some serious love. “It will take several million dollars for the house to be finished,” he told the Wall Street Journal. Still, he added: “Much of the architectural integrity and the architectural value of the house exists.” Sources told Page Six that West's financial woes were a major factor in the decision to part with the pricey property. “Let’s just say the cash flow isn’t really flowing at the moment,” one insider revealed. “The renovations turned out to be a bigger hassle than expected.”
