Pauly Shore will star in a biopic about Richard Simmons.
Pauly also stars in a short film about Richard called “The Court Jester”. It’s not related to the movie.
Pauly revealed last year that he was “playing phone tag” with Simmons about the movie. But it doesn’t sound like he’s ever really been into the idea.
Richard released a statement yesterday saying, quote, “You may have heard they may be doing a movie about me with Pauly Shore. I have never given my permission for this movie. So don’t believe everything you read.
“I no longer have a manager, and I no longer have a publicist. I just try to live a quiet life and be peaceful. Thank you for all your love and support.”
