Carole Baskin may have been awarded Tiger King Park, but current owner Jeff Lowe says it’s going to be a real mess when he gives it over.
Lowe says he’s been preparing for this to happen for two years. So he’s been neglecting his current property and working on a new zoo. He plans to keep the animals and transfer them over to his new location.
Carole and her husband say they will be standing by in case those animals need a new home in the near future.
In another twist to the Carole saga, the will of her late husband Don Lewis seems to be forged. Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister says “two experts deem [Don’s signature] 100 percent a forgery.” He continued that this “certainly casts another shadow of suspicion.” The will left Baskin with an estate worth up to $10 million. Officials didn’t confirm if Baskin is a suspect but they are “working through” the case.
