Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, have been ordered by a Los Angeles judge to pay $500,000 to a security guard over an alleged backstage assault in Germany. The guard, Thomas Weidenmuller, accused Petty of ambushing him and breaking his jaw during a dispute at a 2019 concert in Frankfurt. Weidenmuller claimed he was defending a female security guard whom Minaj was berating. Despite attempts to serve Minaj and Petty with the lawsuit, they did not respond, leading to a default judgment. Weidenmuller initially sought $721,000 but was awarded $503,318. Neither Minaj nor Petty has commented on the ruling.
