According to reports, the five-time Grammy Award-winning singer is evidently “in the final stages of signing a residency deal with Resorts World.” A source disclosed that Jackson and Resorts World were planning on launching the residency with a big New Year’s Eve performance. The Daily Mail also issued an as-yet-unconfirmed statement from Janet Jackson’s manager, Mo Elmasri. “We are thrilled to announce Janet’s upcoming residency at Resorts World Las Vegas,” he apparently told the tabloid. “This partnership offers a unique opportunity to celebrate her legacy and deliver unforgettable performances.” Representatives for Jackson or Resorts World Las Vegas haven’t yet publicly confirmed the rumor.
