A woman in France, who fled her apartment at the start of the pandemic, just returned to find the potato she left in her kitchen sprouted tentacles so big they busted through her counter top.
She first thought it was a giant spider, or something, until she turned on the light and burst out laughing. She says it took a while to cut the tentacles.
She kept the mutant potato – and planted it in her garden.
