COVID-19 claims 11th Cass County nursing home resident; Sangamon cases top 600

A 95-year-old woman who lived at the Walker Nursing Home in Virginia has died from a COVID-19 related illness, Cass County health officials reported Thursday.The death was the 11th linked to the nursing home outbreak first disclosed June 19.Officials also reported three new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the county, bringing the total to 144, with 11 deaths and 123 people who have recovered.
