39 new cases in Sangamon; 26 in Morgan

Sangamon County officials on Wednesday reported 39 new COVID-19 cases, while 26 new cases were reported in Morgan County — 20 of them part of a continuing outbreak at a long-term-care facility.The Morgan County Health Department on Wednesday also announced that anyone who attended a retirement party on July 25 at AMVETS Post 100 in Jacksonville should quarantine in place until Saturday.
