Part of Hilltop Road will be closed beginning Monday

Hilltop Road will be closed from Castle Hill Boulevard to Illinois 29 on Monday, according to the city of Springfield.Crews will be doing site clearing and excavation on the east side of Hilltop Road between Destiny Drive and Lost Bridge Trail as part of the Hilltop Road Trail Extension.Access will be limited to local resident traffic only and only from the south.
