Last week, System of a Down performed an electrifying gig in São Paulo, Brazil. Spectacular drone footage captured the epic scene within the massive crowd, as an estimated 75,000 fans exuberantly participated in multiple mosh pits and wild celebrations that included audience members waving flares and fire spinners. “This is not a war zone, this is not a riot, this is a System Of A Down style Rock & Roll concert in Brazil!!!!!!!” declared the band’s guitarist Daron Malakian on X. The performance was part of the band’s triumphant return to South America for the first time in a decade. System of a Down have a series of special stadium shows planned in North America this summer, with two-night stands scheduled in three cities. Korn will be System’s special guests in East Rutherford, NJ, Avenged Sevenfold will join them in Chicago, and they will be paired with Deftones for their Toronto gigs. (Consequence of Sound)
