When my wife and I moved to Springfield just over four years ago, one of the first things we noticed was how beautiful Lake Springfield is. We’re pretty lucky to have a community this close to a lake of this size.
Now, we don’t have a boat—so Lake Springfield Marina was one of those places we never thought we’d visit, since getting out on the lake ourselves didn’t seem likely. But after spending some time at the Marina, I realized it’s so much more than just a place to put boats in the water.
No Boat? No Problem! If you don’t have a boat, the Marina offers a myriad of water toys available for rent. You can choose from an impressive selection, including:
- The famous “Party Barge” – a 42′ deck boat that carries up to 25 passengers, complete with tables, chairs, and umbrellas!
