A man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds was found dead in a yard on the 2000 block of East Converse Street Friday morning.Springfield police responded to the scene at 10:44 a.m. after receiving a report of a person down. The man was found dead, apparently of multiple gunshots to his upper torso.Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
