Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski met with furloughed federal workers Monday morning while calling on Republicans to reach a deal to reopen the government.
Budzinski visited AFL-CIO offices in Springfield for a rally with several workers.
The Springfield Democrat said “working people are the real victims of this manufactured crisis” as the federal government shutdown enters its second week.
