The Rochester Police Department and the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery that took place Sunday at the intersection of East Main Street and South Walnut Street.
According to authorities they responded to a call at around 3:15p on Sunday.
The victim was found unharmed, and the suspects fled to Springfield. The investigation continues.
