Monroe Street between College and 2nd Street will be closed beginning Monday October 20th at 7a for storm sewer construction as part of the Illinois State Capitol project.
Detour signs will be posted and motorists are encouraged to slow down and use alternate routes if possible. The work is planned to be finished by the end of the day on Wednesday October 22nd.
