After a water main break led to an early dismissal at Glenwood Intermediate School and Glenwood Middle School on Tuesday the school district has decided to operate on a half day schedule on Wednesday.
While the waterline has been repaired, a boil order remains in effect. Under the current boil order, Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines prevent the school from providing food service to students.
Both buildings have functioning restrooms. However, students should bring a filled water bottle from home and a snack, as food service will not be available.
