A Springfield man has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting that happened at 12:56 a.m. on Nov 1st in the 400 block of E. Washington Street in Springfield.
Christopher M. Coleman, 29, of Springfield has been charged in the shooting death of Jayvon Bankhead, 22, of Springfield.
Coleman remains in custody at the Sangamon County Jail.
