Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias on Tuesday rolled out Illinois’ first steps in Mobile ID.
Giannoulias stated that starting Wednesday Illinoisans will be able to able to store a digital copy of their driver’s licenses or state ID’s in their Apple Wallets.
The technology will also become available for those that have Google or Samsung wallets.
Giannoulias touted that this as a game changer for Illinois residents.
