The lawyers for Sean Grayson have filed a motion for a new trial.
The motion was filed on November 26th with the Sangamon County Circuit Clerk’s Office by attorney Daniel Fultz.
Grayson was found guilty of second-degree murder in October for the shooting death of Sonya Massey last summer.
Grayson is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 29 in Springfield.
