Governor JB Pritzker has unveiled how the state of Illinois plans to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary in 2026.
The Governor was at Navy Pier in Chicago to lay out the various programs and ways the state will celebrate the big anniversary.
Among the plans that were announced was a Public Arts Grant, a Youth Art Contest, a Commemorative Illinois Passport, a new 250th logo as well as a program entitled Illinois Voices 250.
