The Artist Spotlight today highlighted Who On Earth and their version of Jefferson Starship’s “Jane.” Here is what the band had to share about the reasoning for covering the song:
“It’s no secret that Who on Earth is influenced by the best rock and metal of the past four decades. It’s evident in every song we’ve written. We’ve been called “retro” and we’re fine with that. We wear it like a badge of honor. Recording our version of ‘Jane’ by Jefferson Starship is our way of saluting the heavy rock from the past, and to bring back an absolute classic with a fresh perspective and modern production! We want to inspire younger people to play in this style. It would be nice to pass on the tradition.”
