Tom Morello Collaborates With Beartooth On New Single, “Everything Burns”

Tom Morello has teamed up with Beartooth vocalist Caleb Shomo for the potent new single, “Everything Burns,” which debuted on Tuesday (December 16) as part of the latest update to the Final Fantasy XIV video game. The collaborative track was produced by Tyler Smyth, and is accompanied by an official music video that was released on Wednesday. “Everything Burns is a high energy riff heavy banger that feels like it’s rising from the streets,” Morello said in a statement. “Collaborating with Beartooth and super producer Tyler Smyth to forge this ferocious next single from my upcoming solo album was a real thrill.” Shomo described the project as catching “lightning in a bottle,” while sharing that the opportunity came with intense pressure but resulted in a “once in a lifetime” experience, marking a major career milestone for the musician.
