The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that two suspects connected to a retail theft in New Berlin were identified within minutes after a notification was sent through The Sheriff’s App requesting the public’s assistance.
After the notification was sent, tips identifying the suspects were received within five minutes.
As a result of that information, deputies were able to identify Christopher W. Rixner, 36, and Melissa A. Hubbard, 35, of Springfield. Arrest warrants were issued for both individuals, charging them with Retail Theft.
