Capital Township is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its board.
Ken Leonard recently retired as a trustee.
A resume and cover letter may be sent to Capital Township Supervisor Joe Aiello at the Sangamon County Complex, 200 South 9th Street, Suite 109, Springfield or by emailing joe.aiello@sangamonil.gov.
Applicants must be Republican, the same party as Leonard, and be a registered voter and live in Capital Township.
Deadline is next Friday, February 6 at 5 p.m.
