The Springfield School District 186 board is expected to formally approve Dr. Terrance Jordan as the next superintendent during tonight’s meeting.
Jordan has been with the district for more than 20 years, beginning as a teaching assistant.
He is currently the district’s assistant superintendent for family, community and school leadership.
The board selected Jordan to replace Jennifer Gill following her retirement at the end of June.
