Get Those Girl Scout Cookies!

By Rocki Feb 16, 2026 | 10:57 AM

I finally buckled and bought some Girl Scout cookies this weekend just outside the Old State Capitol. The girls were posted up on the corner by the Abe statue, right next to Bloom Wine Bar and Florals — a power location if I’ve ever seen one. George Washington had Valley Forge, but these girls have foot traffic and impulse buyers. Same energy.

I was planning to walk right by, minding my business… but then I remembered it was Valentine’s Day. I grabbed some for my wife and me, supported the troop, and in doing so, killed two birds with one stone — romance and civic duty. Boom.

Needless to say, I took them home… and they are ALMOST gone already. Those things are dangerous. They’re so good you’d think they sell themselves. Spoiler: they absolutely do not.

It takes a ton of dedication and hustle to get those numbers up, and these girls (and their moms) put in the work every single year.

But this year, one Girl Scout has gone full superhero mode.

A 6‑year‑old Girl Scout just obliterated cookie‑selling records — and it wasn’t even close.

Pennsylvania Daisy Scout, Pim Neill sold 87,000 boxes this season. Eighty. Seven. Thousand.

That’s not a number — that’s a small nation’s GDP.

To put it in perspective, previous single‑season records topped out around the 30,000 range. She didn’t just beat the old record; she lapped it three times, waved to the crowd, and probably sold cookies to them on the way out.

Her sales skyrocketed after she went viral online along with some old‑school door‑to‑door charm. At one point she was moving more boxes in a single day than I move in a year… of anything.

At this point, I’m starting to think I’m in the wrong industry. Clearly, I should’ve gone into cookies. If anyone needs me, I’ll be outside the Old State Capitol with a wagon and a dream.
