Do you have a band? Then this is for you.
Band Battle is here, and we’re looking for your band.
Whether you play covers or originals.
Whether you’re new or have been around for decades.
Whether your play rock, pop, oldies, hip-hip or whatever.
So how does this work?
In May, June, and July we’ll ask you to submit a YouTube video of your band.
Each month fans will vote for their favorite band.
The band with the most votes wins for that month and gets to play at The Library.
Then in September the three monthly winners will play at The Library for the finale event where fans get to vote for their favorite to determine the Band Battle Champion!
Here’s the Schedule for May
You can submit your band video through May 24.
Fans will vote for their favorite band May 25 starting at Noon through May 31.
The winning band for May will be announced June 1.
The winning band plays Saturday, June 20th 8pm – 11pm at The Library where 92.7 WQLZ will also be broadcasting live.
Here’s the Schedule for June
You can submit your band video June 1 – 21.
Fans will vote for their favorite band June 22 starting at Noon through June 28.
The winning band for June will be announced June 29.
The winning band plays Saturday, July 18 at The Library 8pm – 11pm where 92.7 WQLZ will also be broadcasting live.

You can submit your band video July 7 – 26.
Fans will vote for their favorite band July 27 starting at Noon through August 2.
The winning band for June will be announced August 3.
The winning band plays Saturday, August 29 at The Library 8pm – 11pm where 92.7 WQLZ will also be broadcasting live.
The Finale Event
The winning bands from May, June, and July will play at the finale event at The Library Pizza & Sports Bar on Saturday, September 12 where 92.7 WQLZ will also be broadcasting live.
Fans at the finale event will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite band that night to determine the Band Battle Champion.
FAQ
What kind of bands can enter to win?
Any kind of band! Whether it’s a cover band or you play originals or both – all are welcome. Any genre is welcome. And there is no minimum age, but any under 21 must have an adult guardian on site with them at all times.
Will the winning bands be paid?
Yes! The May, June, and July winners will be paid $1000 each. At the finale event, each band will be paid $1000.
Can the winning bands sell their merchandise at the events?
Yes, and bands keeps 100% of those sales.
Do only the winning bands get to play?
The May, June, and July runners-up can be the opening act, but they will not be paid. If they choose not to play, The Library will provide an opening act.
What kind of set should the bands be able to deliver?
Bands will be expected to play a 2-3 hour set.
What else should we know?
If your band enters to win, you’ll need to get votes! We’ll help you out by emailing you some graphics you can post on your social media to get your fans to vote for you.
