Governor JB Pritzker was taken to a Springfield hospital late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, his campaign confirms to WMAY’s Patrick Pfingsten in his “The Illinoize” newsletter.
Pritzker experienced a “complication” from a urology procedure he underwent May 1. He was discharged early Thursday and returned to the Governor’s mansion. He has continued to keep up his schedule.
The Governor’s campaign did not provide any further details.
